Our preschool program follows a HighScope inspired curriculum, and continues the same attachment practices used with our Infants and Toddlers. We believe that during the first 5 years of life in particular, all children learn best through play and hands-on experience which we happily provide in our newly renovated lower-level space, prime for large motor activities, literacy experiences, fine motor practice, and art/science exploration. We view our outdoor environment as equally enriching, and encourage many opportunities for discovery and learning. We define our roles as caregivers by our ability and excitement to not only teach, but as lifelong learners from children. We are dirt, mud, paint, and water friendly; we define a great day by how dirty our shirts are at 5:30pm!
